Out from Galway - Cliffs of Moher

We headed out from Galway on Tuesday morning and continued down the west coast. As you can see from the picture above, the traffic was awful.

We also passed through Lisdoonvarna, host to Europe's biggest singles event (ladies?). Don't worry, we didn't stop to pick up any souveniers.

We then went down to the Cliffs of Moher which were absolutely stunning. It was so windy and Kathleen almost tipped right over the edge. Luckily it wasn't raining but the sea spray made for a damp viewing.

We have a lot more scenic pics and we'll post a link to our online album when we return. It may be hard to truly capture the beauty since we've only taken about 1,000 pics so far (anyone wanna come over for a slide show?)

After a "delicious" dinner at Aunty Lena's we continued on to a small village outside of Limerick where found a room at the Devlon /Debon Inn (apparently they can't agree on their name).
