Oh It's Micra Alright

We somehow managed to double our load in Dublin so getting out of the hotel was no small task. We barrelled into a cab and headed over to Hertz on South Circular Road to pick up our teeny tiny Nissan Micra.

We barely fit into the darn thing but managed to make our way out of the parking lot and onto the open road.

The driving wasn't actually as bad as we had feared. Getting out of town, however, was another story. Stopping and asking for directions is a little tricky when you're dealing in very vague landmarks (as opposed to street signs). We nailed (NAILED) two curbs along the way to Galway but luckily our rental car was already missing a hubcap on the front passenger side so no damage was immediately apparent. We checked the tire last night and it was still inflated... so fingers crossed she's still full of air when head out today.
We did get a little lost along the way but thanks to our handy map, were back on the right track in no time.
