Hallò

We probably won't need to use our Gaelic while in Ireland, but the following may come in handy:

Hallò. - Hello.
Madainn mhath. - Good morning.
Feasgar math. - Good afternoon/evening.
Oidhche mhath. - Good night.
Mar sin leibh/leat. - Goodbye.
Tìoraidh! - Bye!
Ciamar a tha thu? - How are you?
Tha mi math. - I'm good.
Tha mi gu math, tapadh leibh/leat. - I'm well, thank you.
Tha mi gu dona. - I'm unwell.
Chan eil dona. - Not bad.
Chan eil math. - Not good.
Glè mhath! - Very good!
